Bratislava in a day (part 1)

Imagine you are on a day trip to Bratislava. You want to do some sight-seeing, go to nice restaurants and get the most of it. Let me be your guide today!

One of the main sights of the town is St. Martin's Cathedral. Situated in Staré mesto (Old town), it's the largest and oldest cathedral in Bratislava. It's known especially for being the coronation church of the Kingdom of Hungary between 1563 and 1830 and is one of the two Hungarian Gothic minsters today's in Slovakia.

Now let's go for some food. One of the most touristic places in Bratislava is Slovak Pub. It's interesting to sit there because you will find only Slovak dishes in the menu and each room reproduces certain period of the Slovak history.

This is the Janošik's room. It's dedicated to Janošik - a famous Slovak outlaw. According to the legends, he stole from the rich and gave to the poor.

Pork schnitzel
Chicken Cordon bleu
This is not a dessert. It is a main course and yes, it's sweet. It's absolutely normal to have it for lunch in Slovakia. Now off to the real dessert...

You can find all those yummy things at Wagner.

Wagner.
After all that food it's time for a walk. Koliba is a popular outdoor place on a hill above Bratislava.

And what is a trip to Bratislava without a pint at the end of the day? This place is called SunDeck. It is a boat turned into bar where you can have a good draught beer, listen to some nice music and have an amazing view of the city center. Our virtual city tour ends here. I hope you enjoyed it!

  9. You really make it appear so easy along with your presentation however I to find this topic to be
actually something that I believe I would by no means understand.

It kind of feels too complicated and very huge for me.
I'm taking a look ahead on your subsequent put up, I'll attempt to get the cling
    of it!
