5 плажа на остров Лефкада


Остров Лефкада се намира на приблизително 520км от ГКПП Кулата, пътят почти през цялото време е магистрала. До острова не се налага взимането на ферибот, тъй като е свързан с континенталната част чрез подземен тунел.

По-големите села на острoва са Лефкада, Нидри и Василики. От пристанището в Нидри тръгват повечето корабчета, лодки и фериботи за съседните острови.

Ние бяхме отседнали във Василики – спокойно селце с рибни и гиро ресторанти, както и магазини за сувенири. Плажовете, които посетихме, са подредени в класация, според моя вкус.

    Nydri

    Порто Кацики 

    Безспорно това е плажът, който ми хареса най-много, и който се свързва с Лефкада. Дълбоки тюркоазени води и каменист плаж. Предвид популярността на плажа, бива доста натоварен от туристи. Над него се извисява огромен скален масив, от който се разкрива невероятно красива гледка. До плажа се продават храна и напитки. На самия плаж има шезлонги и чадъри, за които ние не платихме, тъй като го посетихме следобяд.








    Катизма

    Плажната ивица от единия край до другия на Катизма е толкова дълга, че са разположени шезлонги и чадъри на няколко ресторанти и бийч-барове, за които такса не се заплаща, ако сте гост на заведението. Останалото е свободна зона. Катизма впечатлява с тюркоазен цвят на водата, която е леко по-хладна тук, има и вълни. Заведенията са приятни, сервират пресни рибни ястия и се намират зад плажната ивица.





    Микрос Гиалос

    Малко заличвче, каменист плаж, шезлонги и чадъри, за които таксата е 7евро. Водата тук беше най-топла от всички плажове, които посетихме.



    Афтели 

    След неуспешния опит да намерим плажа Сивота, се натъкнахма на този мини залив. Пътят до него е много стръмен и опасен, но пък гледката, която се разкрива, е прекрасна. Плажът е изключително малък и едвам си намерихме място. Водата беше най-чиста тук, имаше и рибки. Отзад има приятен бар, в който хапвахме, пихме коктейли и играхме scrabble.










    Василики

    Плажът тук е един от най-предпочитаните за каране на уиндсърф и водни спортове. Вероятно се досещате, че е ветровит, но водата е спокойна. Плажът разполага с чадъри и шезлонги.


    Плажовете горе ни бяха препоръчани от хора, които посещават Лефкада за трети път. Не казвам, че са по-добри от тези, които не успяхме да посетим, но първите 2, заедно с Агиофили, определно са много красиви и заслужават да се видят.

        Lefkada is a very interesting and beautiful island indeed. It's a preferred destination for Bulgarians. I am so sad that summer is ending soon... But winter is coming - this means snow!!! Thank you for your kind words Lilli! I'd love to visit the wonderful Sardinia one day!

      Hi Sany! Looking at your photos made me thinking about Greece - to be honest, I haven't been huge fan of this country so far - don't get me wrong - I knew that the islands are charming, but haven't felt any "WOW" feeling, especially I remembered that when I was visited Kos few years ago, I wasn't pleased with the beaches. But now, when I'm looking at Lefkada's beaches, I'm truly amazed by each one, especially the first one, it looks really surrealistic and the contrast between the sea and cliff is really fascinating :)

        Oh, really? I just googled Kos and it seems a lovely island to me, but maybe you're right. Maybe it depends on what expectations you have. I personally find Lefkada island very beautiful, but there are other islands that according to me are better - such as Zakynthos. It's been my #1 Greek island so far.       I really, really, want to visit Lefkada now and prolong this summer :D I have no doubt that I would enjoy all the beaches and I'll definitely come back and revisit this posts when I decide to go there. The smallest beach is so tiny and cute :) I really like how you put all the info and the photos are beyond beautiful! Thank you for taking me with you! ;)

      Those are stunning beaches and I'm actually glad you guys accidentally stumbled onto the smaller and more intimate beach. It's tiny yes but also less busy and noisy as the others ones. And it seems like you came across a little gem which makes it way more special.

      I'm still due to visit Greece, but now I'm adding the island of Lefkada to my bucket list. I really like the concept of beaches to be free to use, including sun beds when you're a customer of the bars.
